It's been a rough season for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, and it will not get any easier with several more teams on the schedule from the Big Ten sitting in the top 25 in the latest college football polls. The Michigan St. Spartans are the highest rated team in the conference. The Spartans are now the highest ranked Big Ten team at No. 9 in the AP Poll and No. 10 in the Coaches Poll.

The Wisconsin Badgers' last second loss to Michigan St. has seen them fall to No. 12 in the AP and No. 11 in the Coaches Poll after sitting in the top five for most of the season. The Nebraska Cornhuskers were No. 13 in both polls, with the Penn St. Nittany Lions sitting at No. 21 in the AP and No. 19 in the Coaches. The Michigan Wolverines, who were off this week, are comfortably at No. 17 in both polls. The Illinois Fighting Illini dropped out after their loss at Purdue.
