VIDEO: Da'Jon McKnight To The House Against Sparty

The Minnesota Golden Gophers took a quick lead against the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday afternoon in East Lansing, thanks to this outstanding play by Minnesota wide receiver Da'Jon McKnight. This play happened on Minnesota's first offensive series of the afternoon, and features an absolutely ridiculous run after the catch by the Gophers' star wideout.

See the big play in all of its glory after the jump.

The pass from quarterback MarQueis Gray wasn't a very long one, but McKnight shows very good strength by breaking the Michigan State tackles right after the catch, as well as dragging a Spartan defensive back into the end zone for the last five yards.

Minnesota looks to be smelling upset this afternoon in East Lansing, leading the Spartans 14-7 as time winds down in the first quarter. We'll continue to keep you updated here with all of the latest scoring updates from this afternoon's match-up.
