Minnesota At Michigan State Score Update: Spartans March For Touchdown, Take Halftime Lead

Well, it didn't take long for the Michigan State Spartans to respond to Minnesota's longest drive of the afternoon, as they marched down the field for a touchdown to take a 21-17 halftime lead.

Michigan State took over at their own 26, and Kirk Cousins and company went to work from there. Cousins completed six out of eight passes, including a big third down to Le'Veon Bell to move the Spartans down to the Minnesota 10-yard line. The Spartans got a pass interference penalty to move the ball down to the 2, and then Cousins found Todd Anderson for a 2-yard touchdown pass, with the extra point giving Sparty a 21-17 lead going into the locker room.

The Gophers have played a very strong first half of football, and they will get the ball first coming out of the locker room at halftime, so we will have to see if they can continue their momentum.

We're at halftime in East Lansing, with the Minnesota Golden Gophers trailing the Michigan State Spartans by a score of 21-17.
