Minnesota At Michigan State Score Update: Gophers Open Third Quarter With Touchdown Drive

The Minnesota Golden Gophers got the ball coming out of the locker room at halftime, and put up another touchdown to take the lead back from the Michigan State Spartans.

Starting at their own 20-yard line after a touchback, the Gophers moved the 80 yards in 11 plays, with MarQueis Gray again showing some more growth as a quarterback, completing five out of six passes on the drive. The scoring play was a 15-yard pass to Da'Jon McKnight, the third time the pair has hooked up for a touchdown on the day.

Gray is easily having his best passing afternoon of the season, having completed 14-of-19 passes on the afternoon for 234 yards and three touchdowns on the afternoon thus far. McKnight, obviously, is also having a huge afternoon, with seven catches for 144 yards.

The Spartans are driving after an interesting sequence of events, but as things stand now, with 7:10 left in the third quarter of play, the Golden Gophers lead the Spartans by a score of 24-21.
