Big Ten Tournament 2011: Today's Tournament Schedule

The Big Ten Tournament is set to get under way from Indianapolis this afternoon with the first three matchups. Here is the schedule for today's portion of the Big Ten Tournament bracket.

The party will kick off at 1:30 p.m. Central time with the game between the eighth-seeded Minnesota Golden Gophers and the ninth-seeded Northwestern Wildcats. You'll be able to catch the coverage for this one on ESPN2.

Approximately 25 minutes after that game concludes, the next matchup of the day will begin. That one will pit the number seven seed, the Michigan State Spartans, against the tournament's No. 10 seed, the Iowa Hawkeyes.

For the nightcap, the coverage will shift to the Big Ten Network, as they'll show the matchup between the No. 6 seeded Penn State Nittany Lions, who are back on the bubble and probably need two victories to have a shot at the tournament, taking on the number eleven seed, the Indiana Hoosiers. The tipoff for that one will be at 6:30 p.m. Central time.

We'll have previews for all of the games as they come up, and hopefully a few additional updates along the way as well. The action will start in a little more than three and a half hours.
