Big Ten Tournament 2011: Iowa Leads Michigan State Early In Second Half

Michigan State is probably fighting for their tournament lives this afternoon against the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Iowa is making sure that they do, indeed, have to fight to get into the NCAA Tournament field.

The second half is just underway at Conseco Fieldhouse, and Iowa has just taken the lead over the Spartans by a score of 35-33.

Draymond Green had a huge first half for the Spartans, as he was responsible for 15 of their 33 points. Kalin Lucas threw in seven for Michigan State in the first half.

For Iowa, Matt Gatens has 11 points thus far, while Bryce Cartwright has put in ten.

The Spartans are just 2-for-11 from three point range this far in this one, while Iowa has only attempted four three pointers, hitting three of them.

Michigan State has a fight on their hands against the Hawkeyes, folks. You can check the action out on ESPN2.
