Big Ten Tournament 2011: Day Two Schedule

As we head into Day Two of action in the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis, here's what today's schedule looks like.

The first game of the day will pit the top-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes against the Northwestern Wildcats. Northwestern got here by knocking off the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 75-65, in yesterday's action. The tip-off for this one is scheduled for 11 AM Central time, and you'll be able to watch the game on ESPN.

The morning session will conclude with the only game that wasn't affected in any way by yesterday's action, the match-up between the fourth-seeded Illinois Fighting Illini and the fifth-seeded Michigan Wolverines. This game will also be on ESPN, and will get underway approximately 25 minutes after the conclusion of Ohio State/Northwestern.

From there, we'll move on to the evening session, which will start off with the #2 seed, the Purdue Boilermakers, locking horns with the #7 seed, the Michigan State Spartans. Sparty got a win yesterday over the Iowa Hawkeyes, but they may still need another one to cement their NCAA Tournament invitation, depending on what goes on in some other locales. Scheduled start time for this one from Conseco Fieldhouse is set for 5:30 PM Central time, and the television coverage for this one will shift over to the Big Ten Network.

The day will conclude with the third-seeded Wisconsin Badgers battling the sixth-seeded Penn State Nittany Lions. Penn State got past the Indiana Hoosiers in yesterday's action, but is still firmly on the bubble as they prepare to take on the Badgers. This one will also be on the Big Ten Network, and will get underway about 25 minutes after Purdue/Michigan State concludes.

We will continue to have all your coverage of the Big Ten Tournament here at SB Nation Minnesota.
