Big Ten Tournament 2011: Ohio State And Northwestern Going To Overtime

We're heading to overtime in the first game of the day in the 2011 Big Ten Tournament, as the Northwestern Wildcats and the Ohio State Buckeyes are tied at 52 going into the extra session.

Ohio State went into the locker room with a 28-23 halftime lead, but the Wildcats outscored the Buckeyes 29-24 in the second half to force extra time.

John Shurna is leading the way for Northwestern with 23 points, while Michael Thompson has added 13 for the Wildcats.

For Ohio State, Aaron Craft is pacing the team with 17 points, while Jared Sullinger has 16 rebounds to go along with his 12 points.

Ohio State is still in this one despite shooting just 31% from the field. Northwestern hasn't been a whole lot better, currently sitting at 37% from the field.

With the overtime period just underway, the Buckeyes have taken a 56-55 lead over the Wildcats. We'll have a recap here as soon as it finishes.
