After stuffing Minnesota on 4th and 1 from their own 40 for no gain, New Mexico State took advantage of the field position and momentum to add another touchdown and open up a two touchdown lead for the Aggies.
NM State went the 60 yards in nine plays, lead by QB Andrew Manley. On the drive, Manley was 5/5 for 56 yards, including a 4 yard touchdown to David Quiroga.
On the drive, New Mexico State once again moved the ball with ease, as receivers were wide open down the middle, and on the day Manley is 12/12 for 197 yards and three…count ’em three, touchdowns on the day.
The Gophers took the ensuing kickoff and promptly went three and out, and NM State has the ball once again. But the Gophers have the Aggies backed up on third and long, and have a chance to get the ball back with good field position.
