Minnesota Vs. Indiana Final Score: Golden Gophers Knock Off No. 8 Hoosiers At Assembly Hall

The Minnesota Golden Gophers upset the No. 8 Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday night, 77-74, at Assembly Hall, where the Hoosiers were undefeated and had already beaten top ranked teams like Kentucky, Ohio State, and Michigan. It was Minnesota's first Big Ten and road win of the season.

After taking a three-point lead into the half, Minnesota maintained the lead throughout and actually built up an 11-point lead eight minutes into the second. Indiana battled back and had a chance to tie in the final seconds, but a Christian Watford three was off the mark and Minnesota rebounded to seal the upset.

Cody Zeller led both teams with 23 points. Minnesota was led by Austin Hollins' 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting.

Minnesota looks to build off their first road win at Penn State on Sunday.
