The Minnesota Golden Gophers are not off to the start they expected in the Big Ten. After Sunday evening's 14 point home loss to Purdue, the Golden Gophers find themselves sharing the basement of the Big Ten at 0-4 with newcomer Nebraska. their search for a win does not get any easier this week as they must head to Indiana for a Thursday night contest.

The Hoosiers, of course, are off to a fantastic start with home victories over Kentucky, Ohio State, and Michigan. Indiana's lone loss this season came in its big Ten opener at Michigan State. The Hoosiers have struggled to close games out, however, as they have let large leads slip in their last two games against Michigan and Penn State before holding on with late free throws.

Elliott Eliason and Ralph Sampson III will have their hands full with super-freshman Cody Zeller, who has been the unifying force for the Hoosiers in the middle.
