College Football Rankings, Week 10: Notre Dame moves to No. 4 in Coaches Poll

After a convincing victory over Oklahoma on Saturday, Brian Kelly's Irish rose to No. 4 in this week's Coaches' Poll.

One of only five undefeated teams remaining in major college football, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish moved up to No. 4 overall in the latest USA Today Top 25 Coaches' Poll released on Sunday.

The Irish clamped down on a high-powered Oklahoma offense featuring Landry Jones in Saturday's 17-point win, allowing star Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o to firmly enter the Heisman Trophy discussion after nine weeks of action. Still chasing a trio of unblemished power conference schools in Alabama, Oregon and Kansas State however, Brian Kelly's Irish will next face off against Pittsburgh before taking the road to play Boston College in Week 11.

Despite not picking up a single vote following their impressive 44-28 win over Purdue, the Minnesota Gophers now hold a 5-3 overall record and can enter the national spotlight with a victory over a banged-up Michigan team in Week 10. Freshman quarterback Philip Nelson racked up 246 yards through the air and three touchdowns in the win over the Boilermakers, and will once again be relied upon heavily with the Wolverines coming to town this Saturday.
