The Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-5) head into their final Big Ten regular season game against the Michigan State Spartans (5-6) with en eye toward a bowl game.
Despite an up and down season, the Gophers are bowl eligible which will allow the team to extend the season with another game and even more valuable practice time. That's where the Gophers may be at a disadvantage on Saturday when they face the Spartans.
Michigan State is trying to extend their frustrating season and needs a win over Minnesota to become bowl eligible. If Minnesota wants to ruin those plans for Michigan State they will need to slow down MSU running back Le'Veon Bell who leads the Spartans in rushing with just under 1400 yards heading into Saturday's game.
