The Minnesota Golden Gophers have lost two of their last three after what looked to be a promising little run with wins against Northwestern and Illinois. Their most recent loss to Iowa on Wednesday dropped them to 4-6 in the Big 10 conference, not what they were looking for when they began the year with a sharp 12-1 record out of the Big 10.
The Gophers are eighth in the Big 10 right now but get to play a team even lower than themselves this weekend when they take on Nebraska, who are stuck down at second to last place in the conference thanks to a 3-7 record in conference and a mediocre 11-10 record overall. The game will be at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Nebraska on Sunday evening at 1 PM Eastern Time.
The Gophers need any wins they can get to boost themselves to a possible At Large big as March creeps ever closer.
