Minnesota Vs. Bradley, 2012 WBI Tournament Score Update: Golden Gophers Advance, Defeat Braves 85-59

The Minnesota Golden Gophers lady's basketball team had no issues playing the Bradley Braves and cruised to victory in round two of the Women's Basketball Invitational 85-59. The Lady Gophers used a 17-5 run in the middle of the first half to go up 33-18 and led 39-20 at the half.

In the second half, the game was more competitive but still the same with Minnesota not allowing Bradley to mount a comeback. It was the Minnesota defense to why they won as they held Bradley to 30 percent shooting from the field. Bradley tried to comeback using the three-point shot but they were not successful their either by shooting 7-of-26.

Minnesota had four players who scored in double digits, shot 53 percent from the field as a team and went 28-of-33 from the free throw line.

The win for the Lady Gophers evened their record at 17-17 and their next opponent is the Manhattan Jaspers.
