Big Ten Basketball Tournament: Gus Johnson Makes Things Exciting

Big Ten basketball is rarely going to be categorized as exciting and, aside from Thursday's overtime victory overtime victory for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, that categorization has pretty much held true in the 2012 Big Ten tournament.

Famed announcer Gus Johnson is calling games on the Big Ten Network, however, meaning exciting things are going to happen. And exciting things happened indeed, starting in Friday night's game between the Gophers and Michigan Wolverines when Rodney Williams slammed home an alley-oop.


That might not be the best Williams dunk of the season, and probably won't even amount to being his best dunk on Friday night. If history has taught us anything, however, everything is more exciting when Gus Johnson is involved in a sports contest.
