Howard Pulley Pro-Am Rosters Feature Gophers' Basketball Team

The Howard Pulley Pro-Am summer league is scheduled to start on Tuesday night as the best basketball players in Minnesota duke it out on a weekly basis. The rosters typically end up featuring some names with big games and, as expected, this year is no exception.

The majority of the Minnesota Golden Gophers are listed on the rosters and, though they might not play every week, the Pioneer Press has a breakdown of the rosters.

There's no way to predict when or how often members of the University of Minnesota basketball team will show up to Pulley league games, which run from June 19 until the championship game Aug. 3. Players have summer classes, camps and workouts. On top of that, the NCAA has allowed coaches to attend workouts for two hours a week for an eight-week period this year.

Not knowing the rest of the rosters, I think the favorite will probably be the Fundamentally Sound Athletics team featuring Rodney Williams and Joe Coleman. Andre Hollins and Andre Ingram could keep Infomation Investors Group at the top of the standings, too, though guard play isn't quite as key in this type of league.
