Minnesota vs. St. Cloud State Saturday Line Combinations

It has finally happened - the lines, they are a changin'...

After remaining constant for the first thirteen games this season, Minnesota head coach Don Lucia has shifted lines around in tonight's rematch with St. Cloud State. It makes sense to try something new with the fourth line being one of the better lines the last two weeks and a few players struggling last night.

Freshman Travis Boyd, who has played well this season, is rewarded with a spot in the top-six with Jake Hansen (who is moved from right to left wing) and Erik Haula. Seth Ambroz, who has struggled lately and taken a few bad penalties, moves to the fourth line with Tom Serratore and Nick Larson. Sam Warning is matched up with Nate Condon and Taylor Matson to create a line built on speed.

The only forward line which remains unchanged is the Kyle Rau - Nick Bjugstad - Zach Budish line. Defensive pairings are the same as Friday.
