Frozen Four 2012: Fox Sports North To Broadcast Minnesota, North Dakota Games

One of the frustrating things about the first round of the NCAA Hockey Tournament is that many of the games are aired on ESPN3.com before shown on tape delay. For Minnesota and North Dakota fans who have the majority of their regular season games broadcast on television, it's tough to go from the big screen to a computer screen.

Fortunately, fans in the State of Hockey this weekend can rejoice.

Fox Sports North announced Tuesday morning that they will be broadcasting 3 first-round games Saturday that were destined to be only shown live online. This includes both West Region games from St. Paul - North Dakota - Western Michigan and Minnesota Golden Gophers - Boston University - along with defending national champions Minnesota Duluth facing Maine from Worcester, Massachusetts.

The times and channels are below. North Dakota - Western Michigan will be on Fox Sports North while the Minnesota and Minnesota Duluth games will be on Fox Sports North Plus.

North Dakota vs. Western Michigan -- Saturday March 24, 12:30 p.m. on Fox Sports North

Minnesota vs. Boston University -- Saturday March 24, 4:00 p.m. on Fox Sports North Plus (preceded by a 30 minute pregame show)

Minnesota Duluth vs. Maine -- Saturday March 24, 6:30 p.m. on Fox Sports North Plus
