The Minnesota Golden Gophers will try to improve their already-superb home record as they host the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs in the first of two weekend contests on Friday night.

The Golden Gophers, currently 12-2-2 at home this season and 20-6-4 overall, have lost two of their last three games heading into the weekend. Minnesota-Duluth, on the other hand, is 10-16-4 overall and 5-6-3 away from home so far this season. Friday's contest begins at 7:05 p.m. CT and can be seen on Fox Sports North Plus (check local listings).

Elsewhere around the region, the Ohio State Buckeyes host their rival Michigan Wolverines on Friday and Saturday night. The game starts at 5:35 p.m. CT and can be seen on the Big Ten Network. Michigan has lost two straight contests.

The Denver Pioneers host North Dakota, winners of three in a row, for a two-game weekend series beginning with a Friday night game set for 9:05 p.m. CT. The NBC Sports Network will air coverage of the contest.
