Kurt Rambis Praises Michael Beasley

After the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in London, Timberwolves head coach Kurt Rambis couldn’t stop saying nice things about forward Michael Beasley, according to the Associated Press.

“You can see Beasley is a very talented player,” Minnesota coach Kurt Rambis said. “He’s got a lot of enthusiasm and passion. He freelanced a little bit too much for me, but that’s the way he is. He can create his own shots. I expect him to be a major contributor for us this year.”

Beasley is Minnesota’s grand reclamation project, as he tries to breathe new life into his bong water soaked NBA existence. If Beasley pans out, Timberwolves fans could be headed for a season with far more excitement (and wins) than most analysts forecast.
