Michael Beasley To Host NBA Exhibition Game For Charity In Osseo

Michael Beasley is doing his part in bringing professional basketball to Minnesota this weekend, despite the ongoing NBA lockout. In fact, the Minnesota Timberwolves forward has plans to host "Michael Beasley's All-Star Classic" in Osseo on Friday night.

Tickets for the game start at $60 and can be purchased beginning at noon on Friday, Oct. 21, according to the game's website. Take into account that proceeds from the game will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, MAD Dads of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Urban League charities, however, and it makes the price of admission more worth it -- and the roster doesn't hurt that part, either.

Along with Beasley, fellow Timberwolves players planning to be in attendance include Kevin Love, Wesley Johnson and Derrick Williams. Other NBA players expected to be playing in Osseo include Kevin Durant, John Wall, Roy Hibbert and DeMarcus Cousins.

The doors open at 5 p.m. with the tip-off expected to take place two hours later.
