Kevin Love's Season Gets Even More Ridiculous

Caught this little tidbit from the Timberwolves' PR department via Twitter.

We all know that Timberwolves' forward Kevin Love is having a ridiculous season, as he's on pace to be the first player in the NBA to average 20 points and 15 rebounds per game for an entire season since Moses Malone did it in 1981-82. But, with Love putting up his 37th consecutive double-double against the New Orleans Hornets tonight with 27 points and 17 rebounds, it gave Love his 24th game of at least 20 points and 15 rebounds this year.

That's the most in the NBA since Kevin Garnett had 25 games with such numbers in the 2003-04 season.

Of course, Kevin Love's team still has 31 games left to play this season. I have a funny feeling that he might surpass Garnett's total at some point during the rest of the season.
