Michael Beasley Blows Past Jared Dudley

We all know that Michael Beasley has a lot of talent, and has had to shoulder a lot of the load in the absence of Kevin Love. Even though the Timberwolves lost for the 14th straight time last night, this one to the Phoenix Suns in overtime, Beasley was kind enough to provide us with at least one highlight at the expense of the Suns' Jared Dudley.

Great move by Beasley. . .but, as I said, it was for naught as the Timberwolves went on to lose to the Phoenix Suns, giving Minnesota their 14th straight loss. It also provides a pretty telling stat for the Timberwolves as they go into Wednesday's season finale against the Houston Rockets.

In their two seasons under current head coach Kurt Rambis, the Timberwolves' record in the months of March and April is, currently, a combined 4-36. They're 3-18 since March 1st this season, and went 1-18 after March 1st in 2009-10.

In the history of the Timberwolves, only one coach (Flip Saunders) has lasted more than two full seasons with the team. I've yet to see anybody give so much as one compelling reason as to why Kurt Rambis should be the second.
