The Minnesota Timberwolves Probably Won't Win NBA Championship Next Season

The Minnesota Timberwolves weren't a very good team this past season. In fact, judging by record, they were actually worst team in the NBA during the 2010-11 NBA season.

That's all about to change, however, as Las Vegas has released its odds to win the 2012 NBA Championship and the Wolves don't have the worst odds. They are tied for second-worst at 100-to-1, however, along with six other NBA teams while the Miami Heat have the best odds at 5-to-2.

This doesn't really mean anything as odds makers attempt to get people to bet on things, not necessarily predict exactly what will happen next season, and it seems they've done their job: who wouldn't put 10 dollars on Minnesota to be next year's NBA champions to win $1,000?

With a nucleus of Ricky Rubio, Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, Wesley Johnson and the No. 2 pick (or whomever David Kahn is able to trade that pick for), it wouldn't be like flushing that $10 bill down the toilet, would it?
