Timberwolves Vs. Clippers: Minnesota Travels To Face Blake Griffin, Chris Paul

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on a two game winning streak as they go into Los Angeles for a battle against the Clippers tonight.

The Minnesota Timberwolves rattled off two impressive wins mid-week against some inferior competition in the Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons, and now find themselves with a much tougher test on the weekend starting Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers in LA on the first leg of a back to back ending in Utah on Saturday.

The Clippers are 8-4 right now, with an exciting victory over the Mavericks thanks to a last second three pointer by 'Mr. Big Shot' Chauncey Billups being the highlight of the week for Lob City. The team of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul have worked wonders together so far though the team's chemistry is still in the works. Minnesota have their own 'big two' team with Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love tearing up the floor every game so far, but Minnesota's record isn't quite as good thanks to a slightly lesser supporting cast.

The Timberwolves have finally started to come together after a slightly mediocre start to the season with those two big wins at home earlier in the week. It's games like this against bigger competition that will show if the Wolves really belong in the playoff discussion come season's end.
