After Kevin Love propelled the Minnesota Timberwolves to their fourth straight win last night, the T-Wolves stumbled against the Utah Jazz tonight, 108-98, dropping the team to 7-9. Kevin Love was just 5-of-21 shooting.
The Timberwolves led by four after one quarter, but trailed by two heading into the second half after giving up 32 second quarter points. A poor fourth quarter in which the T-Wolves only scored 17 sealed their fate.
Utah outrebounded Minnesota and had 25 assists on their 41 baskets. They were led by Paul Millsap, who had 26 points on 12-of-18 shooting and nine rebounds. Al Jefferson had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Minnesota played nine guys and seven of them scored in double figures. Rookie Ricky Rubio had a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists.
Minnesota will look to rebound on Monday at home against the Rockets.
