The Minnesota Timberwolves (8-10) notched another victory against the Dallas Mavericks (11-8) on Wednesday night, completing a 105-90 win at American Airlines in Dallas.
Yes, another victory against the Mavericks.
The Timberwolves, who sported the NBA's worst record last season, have already defeated the defending champions twice early on this season, with both win margins in the double digits. Minnesota won at home 99-82 against Dallas on Jan. 1.
And it was no surprise that Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio led the way for Minnesota. Love delivered 29 points on 8-15 shooting while Rubio added 17 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals.
Minnesota now returns home for a couple games, hosting the San Antonio Spurs on Friday at 8:00 p.m. eastern and then the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
