Timberwolves Vs. Cavaliers Score Update: Cleveland Up 7 At Half

The Minnesota Timberwolves are facing the Cleveland Cavaliers at home tonight, and they trail by seven points at the half. Minnesota is coming off a loss to the Grizzlies on Wednesday after winning two straight before that.

The Cavs shot 46-percent and outscored the T-Wolves in both the first and second quarters. No. 1 overall pick in last summer's draft Kyrie Irving was the leading scorer with 12 points on 4-for-7 shooting and added four assists and three rebounds.

Dark Milicic was the leading scorer for the Timberwolves in the first half with 11 points, which is usually a good sign of trouble.

The real trouble was on the boards, though, as the Cavs outrebounded the oft heavy rebounding Timberwolves and also had more trips to the charity stripe. That's what made up the difference in the first 24 minutes.
