Both the Timberwolves and Bulls will hope to bounce back from losses on the second night of a back-to-back as Chicago travels to take on Minnesota at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be televised on NBA TV.
Derrick Williams had 25 points, six rebounds, three steals and a block on 9-of-19 shooting from the field and 2-of-3 from the three-point line as a starter in Minnesota's 96-91 loss to the Pacers on Friday. Kevin Love played just 12 minutes and had six points and nine rebounds.
The Bulls are coming off an 86-83 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday in which they had a chance to tie or take the lead with eight seconds remaining but Nate Robinson missed a layup and Chicago's rally fell short. Kirk Hinrich led the Bulls with 14 points, eight assists, four rebounds and two blocks on 6-of-12 shooting from the field in the loss.
Both Minnesota and Chicago are 1-1 in the pre-season.
