Injuries may have finally caught up to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who dropped slightly in the NBA power rankings this week.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are dealing with an incredible number of injuries and it may have finally caught up with them as they lost back-to-back games for the first time this season. Minnesota lost to the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday, Nov 14 and the Golden State Warriors on Friday, Nov. 16 as Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Chase Budinger, J.J. Barea, Brandon Roy, and Nikola Pekovic all sat on the bench with injuries.

As a result of the back-to-back losses and long list of injuries the Timberwolves slipped a bit in the NBA power rankings from around the web this week.

In Seth Rosenthal's power rankings at SB Nation, Minnesota earned the No. 13 ranking. At ESPN, Marc Stein ranked the Timberwolves No. 18. At NBA.com, John Schuhmann placed them at No. 14. They came in at No. 18 in Sam Amico's power rankings at Fox Sports and Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk ranked the Timberwolves No. 12.

With a range of six spots between their highest and lowest ranking, obviously there is a difference of opinion out there on how good Minnesota is, but they received an average power ranking of 15.
