Held to just 13 points in the fourth quarter on Sunday, the Minnesota Timberwolves will try to move back above .500 on the young season this week with a pair of pivotal games against Brooklyn and Orlando.
Fresh off giving the ball up 24 times against Toronto to drop their first game of the year, the Timberwolves will first play the Brooklyn Nets and steady-handed point guard Deron Williams on Monday night. The Nets opened up their debut campaign with a 107-100 win over the same Toronto team on Saturday, and the two teams will be featured in Monday evening's showcase game set to be televised on NBATV.
After arriving home from Brooklyn, Minnesota will then proceed to take the court against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night at the Target Center. The Magic remained unblemished with a 21-point win over Phoenix on Sunday, but have yet to play away from their home floor.
