The Minnesota Timberwolves, fresh off ending a four-game losing streak with a win on Wednesday against Charlotte, are firing on all cylinders in Houston on Friday night. The T-Wolves shot a remarkable 61-percent from the floor in the first half and, as a result, have a 61-54 lead at the half.
Nikola Pekovic led both teams in scoring with 19 points. Kevin Love is just a rebound away from a double-double already with 10 points and nine rebounds. Ricky Rubio has six points and four assists.
Houston, shooting a more than respectable 48-percent in the first half, is being paced by Kevin Martin's 13 points, although he's hit just 3-of-8 shots.
Minnesota has 34 points in the paint to Houston's 22.
