Timberwolves Vs. Rockets Final Score: Kevin Love, Nikola Pekovic Lead Minnesota (Again) To Win In Houston

The Minnesota Timberwolves are back within a game of the .500 mark, beating the Houston Rockets on Friday night for their second straight win, 111-98.

The Timberwolves scored 91 points through the first three quarters and had a 14-point lead going into the fourth quarter, allowing them to cruise to their 15th victory of the season in the final 12 minutes. As they did to end their four-game losing streak on Wednesday night, Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic provided the offense and cleaned up the glass for Minnesota, combining for 63 points and 29 rebounds vs. the Rockets. Ricky Rubio added 18 points and nine assists, including this pretty behind-the-back pass to Love.

Houston had five score in double figures and they hit 10 three-pointers as a team, but Minnesota dominated the boards (44-26) and attempted 13 extra free throws.

Minnesota will go for the .500 mark on Sunday against Philadelphia.
