Kevin Love Holds Steady At Seven In NBA MVP Power Rankings

The Minnesota Timberwolves are the best they've been in quite awhile this season, having a chance to equal last year's win total if they're able to defeat the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. One of the biggest reasons for the improvement, along with new head coach Rick Adelman and the addition of Ricky Rubio, is that Kevin Love continues to get better.

Love might not be on the level of most NBA MVP candidates quite yet considering the Wolves are fighting themselves out of the cellar, but SB Nation's Tom Ziller gave Love some credit in his weekly NBA MVP power rankings column by ranking him No. 7 in the NBA.

Love is having an extraordinary season by any standards; for a guy some smart analysts legitimately doubted could even play in the NBA because of his size ... it's truly outrageous. Love is now the classic response to any claims that undersized big men can't be great in today's bigger, more athletic NBA.

It's good to see everyone recognizing K-Love's dominance.
