Rockets At Timberwolves: Minnesota Tries To Reach .500 Again

For the latest news on the Timberwolves, be sure to check out Canis Hoopus.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have had four opportunities this season to even their record at .500, and each time they have come away with a loss. On Saturday night at the Target Center, they will hope that the fifth time is the charm when they host the Houston Rockets.

This will be the Timberwolves' third game against the Rockets in less than two weeks. At the Target Center on January 23, the Rockets defeated the Timberwolves by a score of 107-92. This past Monday, the Timberwolves traveled to Houston and returned the favor, defeating the Rockets by a score of 120-108.

If the Timberwolves can knock off the Rockets this evening, it will mark the first time that the Timberwolves have had a record of .500 or better since the second game of the 2010-2011 season, when the Timberwolves defeated the New Jersey Nets to even their record at 1-1.

Once again, there is no local television coverage for the Timberwolves this evening, but you can see them on television if you have the NBA's League Pass. Alternatively, you can listen to them on WCCO-AM 830 or any of the other Timberwolves Radio Network affiliates.
