After splitting a pair of games in Los Angeles, the Minnesota Timberwolves will stay out West to face Phoenix on Thursday.

Thursday's game will be the third of a four-game road trip. The T-Wolves are 8-8 on the road this season.

Minnesota, 18-18, withstood 30 points from Blake Griffin in Tuesday’s 109-97 win against the Clippers. On Wednesday, though, the Lakers trounced the Timberwolves 104-85, a game which L.A. led by 24 after three quarters.

Ricky Rubio put up some interesting stat lines in L.A. He only hit a combined 2 of 16 field goal attempts, but he came through with nine assists in both games. With just three turnovers, he has a 6-to-1 assist to turnover ratio over the last two ball games. Rubio is fifth in the league with 8.4 assists per game.

The NBA’s top assist man is Phoenix's Steve Nash, who is averaging 13.9 points and 10.9 assists this season. In the five games before the All-Star break – the Suns went 2-3 – Nash averaged 13.4 assists and 12 points. On the season, the Suns are 14-20.

Thursday’s game is at 9 ET and will air on Fox Sports North.
