It's not going to be an easy go for the rest of the season for the Minnesota Timberwolves now that they've found out that Ricky Rubio is going to miss the rest of the year with an ACL tear. The schedule isn't particularly kind to them either, leaving them with a seven game road trip to deal with at 21-21 and looking for answers to the question of how they'll make the playoffs without their favorite Point Guard. If only sending well wishes on twitter worked.
The week starts early for the Wolves as they travel to Phoenix to meet the Suns on Monday. The Suns are 19-21 but have won five straight games at home coming into the Minnesota game. They might even be able to get into the playoffs if they can keep their form up.
Thursday brings the second game of the week as the Wolves travel to Utah to meet the Jazz. Also 19-21, they are currently not on quite as good a run as the Suns are with two straight losses on their record. Maybe some positivity will help.
The second half of the back to back on Friday sees the Wolves head to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers, followed by a Sunday game against Sacramento, the first two of three games in California.
