The Minnesota Timberwolves (22-23) remain on the road as they look to halt a two-game losing streak when they face the Sacramento Kings (15-29) on Sunday.
A win will bring the Wolves record back to an even .500 as they have struggled of late, losing four of their last five games. The absence of injured point guard Ricky Rubio (Minnesota is 1-3 since the injury) and a challenging schedule have made things difficult for the Wolves as they now try to keep pace in the Western Conference playoff race. Minnesota is currently in 11th place but still just two games behind 8th place Houston for the final playoff spot.
The Kings are coming off an impressive 25-point win over the Boston Celtics on Friday night which snapped a three-game losing streak.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 p.m. Eastern and will be televised on Fox Sports North.
