The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost three straight games as they've slumped through the first four games of a seven game road trip, and will need to start winning again if they want any chance to be in the playoffs. Their chances depleted quite a bit since they lost Ricky Rubio to a torn ACL, going 1-4 since the injury hit.
Both Minnesota and Golden State are fourth place in their division and are both 4-6 in their last 10 matches. Minnesota didn't make many moves at the trade deadline either, which won't help their talent level for a playoff push even as Kevin Love continues to throw impressive numbers on the scoreboard week in and week out.
Golden State will continue to try and win games since their big trade with the Milwaukee Bucks that saw them lose Monta Ellis.
The game will be at ORACLE Arena at 10:30 p.m. ET.
