The Minnesota Timberwolves are just 1-4 in their first five games since losing Ricky Rubio for the season, but they are still very much alive in the playoff picture, trailing the No. 8 seed by two games. The T-Wolves have currently lost three straight, but are looking to end the skid by defeating the Golden State Warriors on Monday night and lead them at the half by 14, 49-35.
Kevin Love has a near double-double at the half with 14 points and nine rebounds. Luke Ridnour is doing a fine job at point guard, scoring nine points and dishing out six assists.
Golden State, depleted after the Monta Ellis trade and Stephen Curry still out with an ankle injury, have 13 points out of David Lee through the first 24 minutes. Richard Jefferson, who was acquired at the trade deadline, has eight points off the bench.
