The Minnesota Timberwolves have defeated the Spurs in two straight match ups, but they trail San Antonio on Wednesday night by nine, 56-47.
Minnesota shot 27-percent in the first half, which is a big reason why they found themselves down double-digits for much of the first half. San Antonio did not shoot much better, hitting only 40-percent of their shots, but they did have 10 extra shot attempts.
Kevin Love led the Timberwolves with 12 points and nine rebounds, but was just 3-for-10 shooting. Tim Duncan was the leader for the Spurs with a first half double-double -- he had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
