Timberwolves Vs. Spurs Final Score: San Antonio Cruises To 116-100 Win

The Minnesota Timberwolves' never led against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night in a 116-100 loss. The Spurs have now won their last 15 games at home against the Timberwolves and the Timberwolves have lost six of their last eight.

The Spurs were up by as many as 23 in the game and outrebounded the Timberwolves by 15, 56-41. San Antonio doubled up Minnesota on fast break points, 24-12, and benefitted from seven extra shots.

San Antonio saw six players in double figures, led by Tim Duncan with 21 points in 24 minutes. Stephen Jackson and Gary Neal each added 16 off the bench.

Minnesota was led by Jose Barea, who scored 18 off the bench. Minnesota's starters shot 17-for-46, so they had to rely on their bench for much of the game.

They play again in Oklahoma City on Friday.
