Timberwolves Vs. Grizzlies: Minnesota Searches For Momentum In Memphis

The Minnesota Timberwolves look to get things turned around against the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday night at the FedEx Forum, where the Timberwolves have lost five consecutive times.

Minnesota has lost seven of its last 10 games and fallen to 11th in the Western Conference standings, while Memphis dropped six of its last eight games before defeating the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. The Grizzlies are in the process of reacclimating Zach Randolph into the lineup following an extended absence due to a knee injury.

Kevin Love is averaging 30.8 points and 13.9 rebounds per game this month, but the Timberwolves have been rocked by injuries, especially the season-ending ACL tear to Ricky Rubio.

Minnesota will be without center Nikola Pekovic due to an ankle injury, while Jose Juan Barea is also questionable with a right thigh contusion. Neither Pekovic nor Barea played in Minnesota's win on Sunday over the Denver Nuggets.
