The Minnesota Timberwolves (18-19) wrap up a four-game West Coast swing when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers (18-18) on Friday night at the Rose Garden.
The Wolves will look to finish the road trip the way they started -- with a win. Minnesota tipped off the trip in impressive fashion by beating the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday but have since dropped their last two games to the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.
Now the Wolves look to head home on a winning note as they take on the Blazers for their fourth game in five days. Portland will be hungry to win as well after dropping their two games this week to the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat. The Blazers succeed with defense but gave up over 100 points in the two losses.
The Northwest Division rivals are also looking to keep pace in the battle for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. Denver currently holds the eight spot, with the Blazers trailing by 1.5 games and the Timberwolves two back.
