NBA Trade Rumors: Timberwolves Still Intent On Trading For Pau Gasol

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles look like they're destined to be trade partners before the trade deadline. If it's not a deal involving Michael Beasley, it might be one for Pau Gasol. Sports Illustrated's sources are saying that the Timberwolves want Gasol, which ties into the already rumored Derrick Williams for Pau Gasol discussions:

Sources say Minnesota general manager David Kahn is still attempting to land Gasol, and that push is likely to continue all the way until the deadline.

Whether or not the Lakers pull a trigger on that type of deal might hinge on another deal they're working on being made. If Minnesota were to land Gasol, it would certainly show that GM David Kahn is clearly in win-now mode, as Gasol is 31-years-old and not getting any younger.
