Are We Taking Kevin Love For Granted?

Kevin Love was named an NBA All-Star this season so he's obviously on his way to getting the recognition he deserves. That said, the Minnesota Timberwolves power forward's contributions on the court are probably worth a lot more than he's given credit for on a night to night basis. Love scored 39 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in a 95-94 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.

The "undersized" big man also hit five of his ten 3-pointers, grabbed seven boards on the offensive end to keep plays alive and scored eight of the team's last 11 points to seal the deal. All of that happened without Nikola Pekovic in the starting lineup -- though Darko Milicic wasn't horrible -- while having to deal with Blake Griffin and Kenyon Martin on the defensive end.

After watching those highlights, it's tough to think where the 20-19 Timberwolves would be without Love in the lineup.
