Six straight losses for the Minnesota Timberwolves have moved their playoff hopes from dim to dead, and their prospects don't look much better for their next game as they face the Denver Nuggets in Colorado, where they have lost nine of their last 10 games.
Kevin Love has been on fire in recent games as he has all season for the Wolves, but his double double performances aren't leading the team to wins as nobody has been able to score around him with the team still suffering from injury and apathy. They'll be facing a Nuggets team that is desperate to continue winning and climb up a tightening playoff ladder in the West that the Wolves are looking up at.
It's also a Nuggets team coming in with momentum as they now have Danilo Gallinari back and have a rookie in Kenneth Faried who is tearing up the charts since replacing their traded G/C Nene almost full time in the line up.
The game will be at Pepsi Center at 9:00 p.m. ET.
