Life doesn't get any easier for the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves (25-35) as they host the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night at the Target Center.
The Timberwovles have just six games remaining on the regular season schedule which will mercifully bring an end to the season for the Wolves. All-Star forward Kevin Love remains out for Minnesota with a concussion suffered on Wednesday against Denver. Love joins Ricky Rubio, Luke Ridnour, Wayne Ellington and Darko Millicic on the sidelines.
The broken-down Wolves remain winless in April while riding an eight-game losing streak into their game against the Thunder who maintain their spot atop the West while going just 4-4 in their last eight games. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook remain a potent combination for Oklahoma City but the team may be without sixth man James Harden who is day-to-day after missing Friday's win over Sacramento with a sore right knee.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on Fox Sports North.
