Timberwolves Vs. Grizzlies Final Score: Minnesota Drops 11th Straight,

The Minnesota Timberwolves turned in one of their better performances during their current lengthy losing streak, but couldn't bust the slump against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Memphis won 91-84 after Minnesota scored just 28 points in the second half.

In the Grizzlies' eighth straight win against Minnesota, Rudy Gay scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Gay matched Jose Barea's career high 28 points for the Timberwolves, who were again without Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio and Luke Ridnour.

Trailing by nine going into the fourth quarter after having a one-point halftime lead, Minnesota came all the way back to go back up one before Gay scored nine straight points for the Griz while the T-Wolves went cold.

Minnesota has three games left on their schedule with a visit to Detroit coming on Thursday.
